Dangote in a bid to contribute his own quota towards alleviating hunger in the country is about flooding the market with his own rice at a lower price thereby enabling citizens to obtain a better substitute for the popularly known foreign rice.
It is anticipated that the rice will force the price of foreign rice to drop in the market. The company has revealed that the rice project executed by the Dangote Rice Limited in Hadejia, would be replicated in six other states of the federation.
