Oprah who is known to be one of the worlds most famous women has finally decided to formalize her long-time relationship with Graham Stedman. The duo have been dating since 1986,had their engagement in 1992 but Oprah refused them from going to the altar as she feels it was not time for her to be submissive to a man. According to HollywoodLife, a source revealed that Stedman casually asked her to marry him while she was making breakfast for him and she gave him the surprise of his life by saying yes to him.
“Oprah was making breakfast for Stedman when he casually made a joke about getting married, and it suddenly dawned on her how Stedman has never asked her for anything or pressured her in any way, and how she’s been able to do whatever she wants. That’s when Oprah connected the dots and realized it was her turn to show how much she cares about what he wants. I heard she said yes, and Stedman couldn’t believe it. He thought she was joking with him!”
The source also told HollywoodLife that the wedding will be in Oprah's mansion and her best friend Gayle king will be her maid of honor.
It surely will be a wedding to remember.
